Houston: Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has called on President Donald Trump to speak out against hate crimes following the murder of an Indian engineer in Kansas last week.

However, White House press secretary Sean Spicer said last week that it was too early to call the act a hate crime. He said that the early reports coming from Kansas were "disturbing". he also condemned the alleged hate crimes against the Jewish community in the US.
Spicer also referred to the shooting at a news conference on Monday. He was voicing the president's concerns about recent acts of vandalism against Jewish cemeteries in St Louis and Philadelphia.Also Read: Reports From Kansas 'Disturbing': White House on US Shooting
