The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has drawn up Round II of its 100- day action plan which is expected to be kicked off this month.The HMDA has earmarked about Rs 75 core for development works to be undertaken during the 100 days.Speaking to City Express, HMDA officials said the Outer Ring Road (ORR), Phase-II B and Package-1 f rom Patencheru to Mallampet covering 11.30 km and costing Rs 36 crore, being taken up with the Japanese International Cooperation Agency, would be completed by November-end.Similarly, ORR, Phase-II B, Package-2 from Mallampet to Dundigul 11 km and costing Rs 36 crore would also be completed by November-end.The HMDA also plans to plant saplings in medians under the PV Narasimha Rao Elevated Expressway in about 100 spans at an estimated cost of `38.23 lakh and construct planter walls in about 112 spans at of cost of about `3.15 crore.Besides these programmes, the HMDA has on its agenda a revetment from Bridge-V to the Buddha Bhavan (1,200 metres), which costs Rs 40 lakh, gates for the existing interception and diversion structure at Balkapur Nala (Rs 5 lakh) and Prakashnagar (`7.5 lakh) and also a see-through railing from the Sanjeevaiah Park gate I to the Buddha Bhavan (1295 metres) at a cost of Rs 1.40 crore.
