Husband's Support Propels Thane Woman to Bakery Success, This Is Their Inspiring Story

While the adage goes, “Behind every successful man is a woman,” a couple from Maharashtra’s Thane is proving that with a supportive partner, a woman can also achieve significant success. Shyamli Patole and her husband, Roshan Patole, are living proof of this sentiment. The Patoles have been operating their bakery, Shyamli’s Bake Creations, in Talao Pali area for four years now. Their shop, which boasts a range of over 100 bakery products, offers items starting at just Rs 50. Remarkably, about 80% of the products are crafted in-house.

Shyamli focused on creating a variety of cakes, including Swiss chocolate, chocolate trio, chocolate duet, seven-layer Belgium, mixed fruit, premium pineapple, premium black forest, and butterscotch. Her emphasis on fresh and healthy ingredients garnered significant local admiration.

The idea for the bakery emerged during the Covid-19 lockdown. With Shyamli’s background in commerce and Roshan’s job loss during the pandemic, the couple decided to leverage the growing demand for homemade goods. They began by taking cake orders from home before officially launching their bakery.

Their success story not only highlights Shyamli’s entrepreneurial spirit but also the vital role Roshan played in this achievement.
