A threatening letter targeting three people including BJP MLA Ketki Singh from Bansdih assembly in Uttar Pradesh was discovered on a wall in Beruarbari block, sparking alarm in the region. The letter, attributed to an unidentified individual, included a chilling message: “I will kill you,” and challenged authorities with the statement, “stop me if you can.”
The provocative letter triggered widespread discussions and concern within the community. Superintendent of Police (SP) Vikrant Veer confirmed that the police received information regarding the threat and are currently investigating the matter.
BJP MLA Ketakee Singh reported that letters, accompanied by a ten-rupee note, were found pasted on walls in Beruarbari block. She notified both the police and the administration about the issue. Singh emphasised that under the current administration helmed by CM Yogi Adityanath, no criminal should have the audacity to commit such acts. She assured that those responsible will be apprehended promptly.
In response, the police confirmed that a case has been filed at the Sukhpura police station concerning the incident. Authorities have vowed to swiftly arrest those responsible for distributing the threatening pamphlets.
