India will celebrate its 78th Independence Day on Thursday, August 15. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the national flag at the Red Fort at 7:30 am. If you’re wondering how to go to one of the country’s greatest events at the Red Fort in the national capital, the steps are simple.

Tickets for the event are available online via the official website at aamantran.mod.gov.in. It is preferable to purchase your tickets in advance if you intend to attend the event. There will be three different types of online tickets available, and they will be distributed two days before the main event.

The first category has a charge per person of Rs 20, the second is priced at Rs 100, and the third is priced at Rs 500.

  6. Step 6Then make the compulsory payment for the tickets.

Remember to print off your tickets, or you will receive a notification on your phone to display them at the entry. The metro is the most convenient method to travel to the Independence Day event destination, Red Fort.

On Independence Day, the metro stations will follow the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) standards and operate according to a predetermined timetable. The Delhi Metro will commence its services at 4 am on its all lines from all terminal stations.

In preparation for Independence Day celebrations, Delhi Police has increased security by deploying over 3,000 traffic police officers, over 10,000 police personnel, and 700 AI-based facial recognition cameras in New Delhi. In addition, police and paramilitary forces have been deployed in a variety of sites, including IGI Airport, railway stations, bus stops, malls, and markets.
