India may send new 26/11 dossier to Pakistan with Headley’s revelations
India is also expected to ask the United States to take action against Hafiz Saeed against whom a USD 10 million reward was announced for information leading to his capture, following Headley's disclosure.

After David Headley deposed in Mumbai court on Monday, India is planning to confront them with the evidence provided by Headley in connection with the 26/11 Mumbai attacks case.

India is likely to give Pakistan fresh evidence about the involvement of ISI officers in the 2008 Mumbai terror attack after Pakistani-American terrorist David Coleman Headley's deposition before a Mumbai court on Monday.

India has given several dossiers to Pakistan incorporating evidence about the involvement of ISI officers, Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Hafiz Saeed, LeT commander Zaki-ur- Rehman Lakhvi besides others.

Pakistani American Lashkar-e-Toiba operative David Coleman Headley has revealed that he visited India seven times before the 26/11 Mumbai attacks and once in 2009 after the attacks. Headley while deposing in a Mumbai Special Court, has referred to 26/11 terror attacks mastermind Sajid Mir as his 'colleague' in the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT). He has claimed that he was a "true follower" of terror outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba.

India is also expected to ask the United States to take action against Hafiz Saeed against whom a USD 10 million reward was announced for information leading to his capture, following Headley's disclosure.

"Headley's deposition before the court has established that Hafiz Saeed was involved in the Mumbai terror attack. Headley is now in American custody, so the US must take cognisance of his statement and take action against Hafiz Saeed," the official said.

Headley also said that Sajid Mir had asked him to set up an office in India with a motive to build a cover up in India. Headley had taken a 5-year visa to set up his business in India.

Headley said that prior to the terror strike on November 26, 2008, two unsuccessful attempts were made to attack Mumbai in September and October 2008. He said that the same set of men who attacked on 26/11 had come twice in previous months to carry out attacks. The men even used the same route through the sea to enter Mumbai.

Naming Hafiz Saeed for the first time, he said that the speeches of the Jammat-ud-Dawa chief motivated him to take up the cause. He was also shown Saeed's picture by the court and Headley confirmed that he is the same person.
