Jharkhand: Man says no for AC, wife commits suicide

Jamshedpur: A 32-year-old woman on Monday allegedly committed suicide when her husband turned down her request for a air-conditioner machine for lack of money at East Bengal Colony in Jamshedpur.

Bina Das hanged herself following a quarrel with her husband over the demand of an AC machine, the police said.

She had been demanding the AC machine for nearly a week in view of the scorching heatwave prevailing in the Steel City in Jamshedpur, sources said.

Following a quarrel, Das hanged herself on Monday.
