New Delhi: A militant was killed and an army jawan wounded in a gunbattle between security forces and ultras in Sopore town in north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Wednesday.
The gunbattle ensued when army and police jointly launched a search operation in Mominpora village, following information about presence of militants in the area.
One army jawan was injured in the exchange of fire, police said.
