J&K: Militants attack polling officials in Shopian

Srinagar: Suspected militants attacked polling officials when they were leaving after polling ended in Shopian district of south Kashmir, leaving several persons injured.

Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, AG Mir told reporters that a firing incident was reported from Shopian on Thursday evening.

Some security force personnel have been injured in the attack, Mir said, adding, further details are being ascertained.
