Daughter of Kannada star couple Smt. Pramila Joshai and Dr Sunder Raj is returning back after her film 'Punda'.
The ace actor Meghana Raj, is making her come back with the remake of Sashikumar's 'Sundara Pandian'.
However the Tamil remake rights of 'Sundara Pandian' are with producer K Manju and the Kannada version of it has direction by filmmaker Guru Deshpande.
Meghana Raj made her debut with Telugu film 'Bendu Appa Rao' Telugu film and then consistently featured in Kannada cinema opposite actor Yogesh.
Talking more about her recent comeback the actor says that it is a homely role for her and the film made in Tamil 'Sundara Pandian', is very close to her because it rhyms well with her father's name Mr Sundar Raj.
Reports say that for the Kannada version of the film actress Meghana Raj reduced her weight.
The re launch of the actress is taking place with a new name to her it seems. Also, the event is taking place in the second week of January 2013.
National repute Hamsalekha is scoring music for 'Sundara Pandian's remake in Kannada and KM Vishnuvardhana is the film's cameraman.
