KCR should make assets public: TDP

HYDERABAD: Stepping up its tirade against the TRS, the opposition Telugu Desam Party has demanded that TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao make his assets public.The TDP valued Rao's assets at Rs 50,000 crore.“At one time Rao didn't have money even to buy a cigarette.But he is worth around Rs 50,000 crore now.Let him disclose the source of his income,” TDP senior leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu demanded at a media conference here on Sunday. Rao should disclose the value of his assets before he launched the TRS in 2001 and the current value of his assets."A CBI probe into the assets of Rao will prove that Rao is more corrupt than YS Jagan Mohan Reddy," Narasimhulu said.Rao's double standards were revealed after the Polavaram tender episode, Narasimhulu alleged and wanted to know why Rao took the T-movement to a peak and why he diluted it again.
