BANGALORE: Sumitra, mother of Ashok, who died in the custody of Kerala police, has filed a murder case against the Kerala police. She filed the case in a magistrate court, which referred it to Yelahanka police for further investigation on Monday.Ashok, 30, was arrested by Kerala’s Anti-Piracy Cell (APC) police recently and was brought to the city for recovery of property.Ashok allegedly hanged himself at Border Security Force (BSF) quarters in Yelahanka, where the police team was staying with him on Saturday night. The incident came to light on Sunday morning.Following his death, his mother Sumitra filed a murder case against the Kerala police team comprising a DCP, an SI and two constables.
