Kottapuram Diocese observes Prayer Day

PARAVOOR: Kottapuram Diocese observed a prayer day on Tuesday to share the anxiety and fear of lakhs of people who are living under the  threat of Mullaperiyar Dam breach. Churches,convents and religious institutions under the diocese offered special prayers from the morning.The valedictory function of Diocesan-level prayers was held at St Michael’s Cathedral at Kottapuram in the  evening. Kottapuram Bishop Dr Joseph Karikkasssrey led the prayers.Vicar general Msgr Dominic Pinhere, chancellor Dr Nixon Kattassery, procurator Fr Tegy Thanappilly, diocesan Fr Rocky Ruby Kalathil, Msgr Sebastian Kunnathoor, Fr Jacson Valiyaparambi, Fr Andrews Arackal and Cathedral vicar Fr Francisco Padamadan were also participated.
