New Delhi: While the app stores are flooded with a plethora of dating apps, it's Tinder that has managed to gain the attention of both users and investors. Tinder is a year-old location-based mobile dating app that was recently valued by investors at $500 million.
Tinder shows you someone nearby it thinks you should know, and lets you anonymously like or pass them based on their profile pictures. If someone you like happens to like you back, then Tinder makes an introduction, lets you chat within the app and helps you schedule a date.
Tinder asks you to sign in with Facebook, as it helps the app pull your profile photos and other details for your dating profile on the app.
Tinder has about 10 million users who signed up with their Facebook accounts. The app matches other users based on their geographic location.
