TIRUPUR: A construction worker from Madurai was hacked to death by a fellow worker near Pongalur on Tuesday following a dispute over a money transaction.Ganeshan (40), of Madurai district was residing in Tirupur along with Kandhasamy (40). On Tuesday, they were proceeding to Madurai in a bus. When the bus stopped at Pollikalipalayam they went to a tea shop and and a quarrel broke out between them. In a fit of rage, Kandhasamy hacked Ganeshan with a sickle and fled the scene.
