Mahendragiri on AP site: Naveen writes to AP CM

BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has sought intervention of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy in correcting a ‘mistake’ in the website of the neighbour’s Tourism Development Corporation.It has been brought to notice that Mahendragiri Hills have been included in the website of Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, Naveen said in a letter to Reddy on Thursday.Saying that Mahendragiri Hills are very much part of Gajapati district in Orissa, Naveen said the State has taken up several eco-tourism projects in the area. “It is unfortunate that a corporation of Andhra Pradesh government has included the Mahendragiri hills in its website,” Naveen said.Therefore, Naveen said, “I would request you (Reddy) to instruct the officials concerned in your government to correct the mistake immediately."
