HYDERABAD: Three persons, including a woman, were murdered in separate incidents in the city on Tuesday. A scrap businessman was murdered by his nephew over family dispute at Falaknuma while a woman was smothered to death by her husband at Tukaramgate. At Jubilee Hills, the body of an unknown person was found stuffed in a polythene bag.Mohammed Hussain (50), a scrap dealer of Saddam Colony in Jahanuma was stabbed to death by his nephew, Mohammed Ghouse on Tuesday afternoon. According to police, families of Ghouse and Hussain were having long standing family disputes.In another incident, a 28-year-old housekeeping worker was smothered to death by her husband at their residence in Tukaramgate.M Geetha of Buddhanagar in Tukaramgate was married to one Shankar eight years ago back and the couple have a seven-year-old boy. Due to some differences the couple have been living separately. Two days back, Shankar moved into a new room at Tukaramgate and on Monday asked his in-law’s to send his wife and son there.On Tuesday morning, neighbours heard the boy knocking the door from inside and when they opened the door found Geetha lying dead on the bed. The boy told police that his father smothered his mother using a pillow.Meanwhile, locals found an abandoned bag at Road No 17 in Jubilee Hills and alerted the police. On opening the bag, police found the body of a man in it. There were no external injuries but the police said the deceased might have been smothered to death.
