Mumbai: Rabbi Nachman Holtzberg and Freida Holtzberg haven’t slept peacefully for one night since they lost their son and daughter-in-law to the 26/11 terror attack in Mumbai.
Their son rabbi Gabriel Holtzberg and his wife Rivki Holtzberg were gunned down by the terrorists who assaulted Chabad House in 2008.
Only their grandson Moshe, who was one and a half years old then, survived the carnage.
Speaking exclusively to CNN-News18, Nachman said, “There isn’t a minute which goes without remembering them. For any parent, even a minor illness of a child is difficult. Every morning, every evening, we haven’t seen them for nine years now."
What was their fault? They left behind a life full of pleasures, family and friends, to go out and help people. Why do they want to kill good people?" asked a perturbed Nachman.
“For us, the only glimmer of light at the end of the dark tunnel, is Moshe. He is our light, our joy. He is a miracle," they said.
They were in Mumbai in January this year for the inauguration of a memorial of 26/11 victims at the hands of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
