Chennai: Author, screenplay-writer and film director MT Vasudevan Nair will be honoured with the KP Kesava Menon award for his work in the area of literature.
Nair has been selected for the award considering his comprehensive contributions in social, cultural and literary areas.
Instituted by Tharoor KP Kesava Menon memorial trust, the award was announced in a press meet by trust chairman TR Vaidyanadhan, secretary EP Chinnu Kuttan and jury chairman Mundoor Sedhu Madhavan.
Opposition leader VS Achudhanandan will present the award in a function Nov 9 at Tharoor KP Kesava Menon auditorium.
