ATHAGARH: BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday made a whirlwind tour of various areas under Athgarh Assembly segment and campaigned for party candidate Ranendra Pratap Swain.Assuring development of the constituency, Naveen exhorted people at different public gatherings to vote for Swain.At one such gathering at Khuntuni, Damodar Rout who accompanied the Chief Minister, said the party is leaving no stone unturned for the victory of Swain in the by-poll.In a snipe attack on Rajya Sabha member Pyarimohan Mohapatra, he said: “The by-election for Athgarh seat was a blow to the other power centre in the party.”The Chief Minister was accompanied by Cuttack MP Bhartruhari Mahatab, Forest and Environment Minister Debi Prasad Mishra, Cuttack district BJD president Dharmananda Behera, senior party leaders Anang Udaya Singhdeo, Kalandi Behera and candidate Swain.
