BHUBANESWAR: The Capital Hospital had a VIP guest on Saturday afternoon when Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik dropped in to check on the health of his driver who had taken ill in the morning.Naveen arrived at the hospital at about 2.40 pm and was escorted to the department where Karunakar Biswal, driver of his official vehicle, was admitted. The Chief Minister queried about Biswal’s health. The driver, who suffers from hypertension, had a stroke on Saturday morning. As a result, he had become part-paralysed. However, he is stable and conscious, doctors said. Naveen spoke to the doctors about Biswal’s state of health and asked them to take proper care of the driver. He also went round the hospital during his visit. The Chief Minister is reported to have asked the Capital Hospital management to improve sanitation as well as ensure better health care services delivery for the patients.
