New Delhi: There is a month to go for Mobile World Congress 2014 to begin, and Nokia has started sending out media invites for its press conference scheduled for February 24. If reports are to be believed, Nokia is expected to announce a large number of mobile devices at its Mobile World Congress 2014 press event.
Speculations are rife that the company may announce the launch of the metal-bodied Lumia 1820 handset and the 8-inch Lumia 2020 tablet. Rumours are doing the rounds that the company may also launch variants of its large-screen 1520 smartphone, which may including a mini version.
Latest reports also indicated that Nokia may unveil its much-anticipated Android phone, codenamed Normandy. The handset is believed to be a low-cost phone. The phone is presumed to be forked variant of Android. In other words, it will run a stripped-down version of Android OS - quite like Amazon's Kindle Fire - and will not align with Google's own version.
The arrival of the Nokia Lumia 630 and 635 is also expected at MWC 2014, which will take place from February 24-27.
