New Delhi: Acting on a tip off from the central intelligence agencies, Delhi Police has unearthed a big Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) plot to carry out terror strikes in Delhi and its neighbouring areas.
The startling revelation came in lime light after Delhi Police in their FIR submitted before the anti terror court on December 1 mentioned that they have information about possible Fidayeen strikes in Delhi and its adjoining areas.
The FIR copy reveals that two LeT operatives identified as Dujana and Ujana have infiltrated in Jammu and Kashmir from PoK to carry out the attacks.
Sources said the attack could be on prominent personalities and in crowded areas. LeT commanders are in touch with the operatives who have been code named as Numan, Zaidi and Khursheed.
Delhi police source said that they are using code names to ward off surveillance mounted by various intelligence agencies in India and abroad.
