New Delhi: Prasar Bharati CEO Jawhar Sircar on Friday expressed displeasure over Information and Broadcasting ministry not "marking" to him a copy of the modified order on the appointment of Director General of Doordarshan News.
"I&B babus retract step but 'forgot' to mark copy to CEO! Will never learn!," Sircar tweeted.
On Thursday, the ministry had amended an order appointing Veena Jain as DG of DD News cum OSD in the I&B ministry.
The appointment order had initially said that Jain would report to the ministry "for all purposes" but then modified it and said that she she would report to Prasar Bharati for "all operational purposes" and to the ministry as officer on special duty.
A copy of the order was, however, marked to Prasar Bharati Chairman A Surya Prakash.
