Providential escape for Emirates passengers

NEDUMBASSERY: Around 200 passengers and the crew of Emirates flight EK 532 from Dubai to Kochi had a providential escape when the flight, which developed a technical snag in its hydraulic system, landed safely at the Cochin International Airport in the wee hours of Saturday.The pilot, who noticed some anomalies with the hydraulic system of the aircraft just before landing at the Kochi airport, informed the Air Traffic Control (ATC) authorities to make arrangements for the landing.
The flight landed at the airport at 3.05 am safely. The passengers are safe.The aircraft was shifted to a separate bay for the technicians to repair it. The flight which was scheduled to return as EK 533 to Dubai at 4.20 am was suspended temporarily. The flight has resumed the journey to Dubai on Saturday evening at 6.30 pm.
