Rahul R Nair likely to be Kannur SP

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In another reshuffle in the Police Department, the government is planning to post Rahul R Nair as Kannur SP and Devesh Kumar Behra as Kollam City Police Commissioner and S Surendran as Kasargod SP.Rahul R Nair would replace Anoop Kuruvilla John who had gone abroad for training. At present, Rahul R Nair is serving as Thaliparamba ASP. Debesh would replace Gopesh Agarwal who assumed the charge of Kollam City Police Commissioner a month ago following the transfer of then Commissioner T J Jose to T’Puram.It is expected that the government will issue the order regarding the reshuffle on Wednesday. It was hardly one month back that government carried out a major shake- up in the Police Department.
