PATHANAMTHITTA: Bishop Malusi Mpumlwana of Ethiopia has said that prayer is the only way to keep off from inducement. Delivering a discourse at the 117th Maramon Convention on Thursday, Bishop Malusi Mpumlwana said that prayer was the only remedy to keep away from overcoming challenges and inducements. The faithful should reach out to the God so that they could live in peace and happiness, the Bishop said. Though Christianity could reach out across the world in a remarkable way, it failed to go deeper into the minds of the faithful, he said. The Bishop said that Jesus Christ was the role model in leading the world with unparallel compassion and love. Christianity faces challenges across the world due to the erosion in faith and compassion to the fellow-beings, the Bishop said. Isaac Mar Philexinos presided over the meeting. In the afternoon session, Rev Kang-San-Tan delivered the discourse. Geevarghese Mar Athanasios presided over the meeting.
