KOCHI: Fisheries Minister K Babu has said that the government has issued administrative sanction for nine projects to be implemented in various fishing villages in  Thiruvananthapuram district. The projects are being implemented under the Rural Infrastructure Fund in association with the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). The total cost of the project is Rs 10.89 cr. Of this, rs 9.77 crore will be allotted by NABARD.Fishlanding centres in Paruthiyoor, Poovar and Puthiyathura will be developed at a cost of Rs 2.7 crore while a drainage facility will be set up at Adimalathura-Ambalathumoola fishing village at a cost of Rs 1.64 crore. Rs 43 lakh will be allotted for a beach road construction in Pulluvila panchayat.
