Reports suggested that the diplomat was under the influence of alcohol and did not come out of the car even after the police came on the spot.
New Delhi: A Russian diplomat reportedly misbehaved with a police officer following a road accident as his car hit a bike rider in the Moti Bagh area of the national capital on Tuesday night.
The car also hit the police barricade.
The Russian diplomat himself was present in the car.
It is unclear if the diplomat was under the influence of alcohol. A breathalyser test was conducted and a medical report is awaited.
The bike rider, named Naveen, has been admitted to AIIMS. The police is trying to contact the embassy, and has promised action.
