The star tried to overcome his fear in his upcoming film, 'Buried'
London: Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds has revealed that while shooting for his new film Buried, he had to face lifelong fear -- claustrophobia.
In the film, Reynolds stars as a trucker who is kidnapped in Iraq and buried alive, and he spent two weeks shooting in a prop coffin to finish the underground sequence.
Reynolds "emerged skinless", battered and bruised - and even with a small bald spot - after being locked in the coffin for hours.
Dailystar.co.uk reports Reynolds insists dealing with his anxiety was the worst part.
"Even elevators start to feel like a large sweater to me. Big spaces agree with me just fine," he said.
