A strong posse of policemen has been deployed at the Mumbai sessions court which is set to deliver its verdict in the 2002 hit-and-run case involving Salman Khan.

8:10 pm: Salman Khan reaches his residence at Galaxy Apartment in Bandra.

4:51 pm: Bombay High Court grants two days interim bail to Salman Khan in 2002 hit-and-run case.

4:45 pm: Senior lawyer Harish Salve arguing for Bollywood actor Salman Khan in Bombay High Court.

Salve argues, "Cannot put someone in jail without the order. Please give time till day after. We have only received the operative part of the order."

3:15 pm: Salman Khan's bail plea will be heard at 4 pm.

2:00 pm: Public prosecutor Pradeep Dhar says the accused has been found guilty. "The offences have been proved. We have not yet received a copy of the judgement. The court has said that Ashok's statement before the court is completely wrong and cannot be accepted," he said.

1:38 pm: "He has been charged against section 304 part II of culpable homicide not amounting to murder. He will be arrested from the court itself. The court did not agree with the defence arguments of the Ashok Singh driving the car," lawyer Abha Singh said.
