Samme continues to jolt Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR: The Samme paralysed the district administration for the second consecutive day on Wednesday. Congress leaders and activists staged protests against TRS president KCR's remarks on minister D Sridhar Babu. In retortion, TRS cadre tried to burn the minister's effigy at T Chowk.
Both party's leaders indulged in heated arguments and jostling. In Godavarikhani, nearly 22,000 workers of SCCL abstained from duties. Coal production came to halt in 10 opencast mines and 4 underground mines. Police were deployed to guard mines.
