To help the children of lorry and bus drivers, Ashok Leyland and TVS are launching a scholarship project titled ‘All the best 2012’.
Students who have passed SSLC and Plus-Two will be eligible for the scholarship which will be based on merits. Apart from it, the other major requirements to qualify for the scholarships are that the father of the applicant should be a heavy duty driver. He also should not own more
than one heavy duty vehicle. The applicants should have passed their SSLC or Plus-II, this year from any of the schools in the state. 100 students from SSLC pass-outs and 25 from Plus Two pass-outs will get the scholarships. The last date to submit application is August 15.
