Security guard murdered

BANGALORE: A security guard was killed by miscreants when he tried to stop them from entering inside. The incident was reported at Heritage Fresh Super Market in Kadirenahalli on Uttarahalli main Road on Tuesday.
According to the police, the deceased Rajashekar (42), slept in the building's cellar, where each day's profit amount was kept. At around midnight, the miscreants entered the cellar and attempted to break open the door locks. Rajashekar, who woke up listening to the sound, restricted them from coming inside. In the melee, the miscreants hit his head with a weapon and fled away. Rajashekar succumbed to injuries, the police said.
