Security official held for molesting boy

KOCHI: The Harbour police on Thursday arrested a security official on board a vessel from the islands to Kochi in connection with the alleged molestation of a three-year-old boy from Lakshadweep.
According to the police, the boy was sexually harassed by the police official on board the vessel, M V Kavarati, which was on its way from Lakshadweep Islands to Kochi. The official was identified as Abdul Khader. He was produced before the court and was remanded in Mattancherry Subjail.
