ISRO's Mars Orbiter has beamed back the first set of pictures of the Earth, capturing the Indian subcontinent and parts of Africa. The first image was taken on November 19 at around 1:50 PM from a height of almost 70,000 km above earth and has a spatial resolution of 3.5 km.The severe cyclonic storm 'Helen' hurtling towards Andhra Pradesh coast is clearly visible in the first image.
