MYSORE: The seers of various mutts have decided to conduct ‘Cauvery Theertha Yatra’, aiming to create awareness about water pollution in the Cauvery river. The Yatra will begin from Talacauvery on October 23 and will conclude in the neighbouring state of Tamil Nadu on November 11.On October 23, Vishwa Hindu Parishat president V Bhanuprakash Sharma will be inaugurating the event. Pejawar seer Vishvesha Theertha Swami and Ananda Theertha Swami will be present at the Yatra.The Yatra will pass through Bhagamandala, Balmuri and Moornadu on October 23, Guhya, Siddapura, Kushalnagar, Kanive on October 24, Koonooru, Ramanathpura on October 25, Krishnarajanagar on October 26, Belikere, Yelwala, Hinkal, Mysore on October 27, Krishnaraja Sagar, Srirangapatna on October 28, Koomarhalli on October 29, Mandya on October 30, T Narasipur and Kollegal on October 31.
