The regional Deputy Directorate of Government examinations here has announced the procedure for filling the online application for the SSLC board examinations (old and new syllabus) and OSLC/Matriculation/Anglo-indian (old syllabus only) for private candidates.
K Lalitha, Deputy Regional Director of Government Examinations, said that details on the pre-examination processing system were available on the website www.dge.tn.nic.in. The examination fee is Rs 125 and the last date for payment is September 18. Between September 12 and September 17, the candidates could download the necessary application forms and challan for payment of fees.
The candidates have to first choose the examination centres from the online form. They have to indicate if they were appearing for the old or the new syllabus. The fee challan can also be downloaded. The payment can be made through any of the branches of the Indian Overseas Bank with core banking facility. The image of the photograph of the candidates should be uploaded. The confirmation copy of the application should be downloaded and submitted to schools where the candidate had studied or to the Regional Deputy Directorate of Government Examinations in Vellore along with the copy of challan of payment of fees and the copy of the marksheet on or before September 24.
Those who failed the practical examinations in April 2012, need to contact the district educational officers of Cheyyar, Tiruvannamalai, Tirupattur and Vellore for details. For candidates appearing for the old syllabus examinations, the course fee for OSLC is Rs 125, for matriculation Rs 135 and Anglo Indian Rs 85 per subject.
