Session adjourned sine-die

BANGALORE: After a fourday sitting, both houses of the state Legislature were adjourned sine die on Tuesday.
The session was convened for 10days and began on June 2; the abrupt ending was due to the boycott of session by the Opposition parties - Congress and JD(S).The house was scheduled to sit till June 15. While Assembly Speaker K G Bopaiah announced the adjournment of the house sine die, Legislative Council Chairman D H Shankaramurthy followed suit in the afternoon.
