Sex scam: Shobha John denied bail

KOCHI: The High Court on Friday dismissed the bail applications of Shobha John and four other accused in the Varappuzha sex scam.Justice K T Sankaran dismissed the bail applications of seventh accused Pushpavathy, eighth accused Vinod Kumar, 10th accused Joshy John and 14th accused Thahira.The court observed that if the accused were released on bail, they would tamper with the evidences, which would affect the investigation.
