New Delhi: Sherlyn Chopra is hopping mad at the Indian media for calling her ‘sleaze queen’, ‘down market’ and ‘cheap’ after she posted on Twitter pornographic images of a woman, thought to be her, masterbating with a cucumber.
“Huge thanks to the media and others for titles such as ‘wanna be’, ‘the queen of sleaze’, ‘down market’, ‘cheap’, ‘desperado’, ‘shameless’, etc. Out of my 16 or 17 tweets which I had recently posted, which sum up my confessions, the media seems to find just 1or 2 of them highly entertainin,” she tweeted.
“The other 15 or 16 tweets do not matter much to the media…why…? Perhaps they are not “spicy” enough.”
She dropped a bomb on Twitter on Sunday by posting a series of graphic images of a woman’s nude lower body in a variety of pornographic poses.
Chopra, the first Indian to be featured on the cover of Playboy magazine, said she hoped the pictures would help her trend worldwide on Twitter.
She gave fair warning to anyone likely to be offended by the images (of a woman masturbating with a cucumber) to “unfollow her immediately”. In Lady Gaga style, she announced that would call her followers her ‘lovers’. It could not be verified whether the photographs were of Chopra.
Hash-tagging her tweets with #TheSherlynChopraLeague, Chopra invited her followers to the orgy of her “private function” with suggestive tweets that said “I like it when you eat it.”
But when she was criticized for her dare bare act in some sections of the media, Chopra tweeted: “I refuse to accept your negative opinions/thoughts/suggestions. Father, forgive them for they know not what they do. Those that lack integrity are condemning me for pouring my heart out with integrity.”
She called it “yellow journalism” and “yellow reporting”.
