Shivpuri: Woman, two daughters drown in pond in Bharatpur Imlia village

A woman and her two daughters drowned in a pond on Sunday at village Bharatpur Imlia under Pichore police station area in the district, police said.

The mishap took place when the woman Ramshri Adivasi (45) went to the pond along with her daughters identified as Angoori (12) and Swarthi (8) for having a bath and got drowned in it one after another, Pichore Police Station In-charge, Sunil Shrivastava told PTI.

Their bodies were fished out and further investigations were on, he added.
