MYSORE: Leader of Opposition in Assembly Siddaramaiah slammed senior BJP leader L K Advani for his decision to go on a rath yatra against corruption when a former party minister has been arrested and a former chief minister is all set to be jailed.“It is unfortunate that Advani has planned a rath yatra against corruption when his party has tainted leaders,” he addressed the media here on Wednesday, referring to former minister Katta Subramanya Naidu and B S Yeddyurappa. He asked him to act against corrupt party ministers and leaders.He further charged that Advani has no moral right to raise his voice against corruption. Siddaramaiah also came down heavily on minister Ananthkumar, whose name figures in the HUDCO housing scam, for being convener of the Rath Yatra. “The state government is not a responsible one,” he said, adding that the administration has collapsed and development has come to a standstill. Siddaramaiah asserted that Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda has lost control over ministers and bureaucrats in the government. He also asked the CM to demand the resignation of Forest Minister C P Yogeshwar for his role in alleged irregularities and cheating cases.The Opposition leader claimed that the Congress will win the byelection to Koppal assembly constituency. He said that former CM B S Yeddyurappa who is facing charges of corruption has no face to campaign for his party candidate. “The Congress will win as JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy, too, faces corruption charges,” he added.He urged the CBI to arrest the Bellary Reddy brothers and former minister Sriramulu, who is a share holder of Obulapuram Mining company, owned by tainted minister G Janardhana Reddy.
