HYDERABAD: With Assembly speaker N Manohar finally taking action on the resignations submitted by several dozen MLAs, Telugu Desam MLAs from Telangana are said to be having a sinking feeling that their turn might come soon.
Having resigned to make a point on the Telangana issue, they now face the prospect of having no seat in the Assembly. All 32 Telangana MLAs of the party have submitted their resignations which are pending with the speaker.A day after Manohar had accepted the resignations of two TDP MLAs, Telangana Telugu Desam Forum (TTDF) leaders called on their party boss Chandrababu Naidu here on Sunday and discussed their predicament at length.

In a propaganda offensive, TTDF leaders demanded that Congress ministers and MLAs too submit their resignations to show their Telangana credentials. The TTDF MLAs may not press the speaker for acceptance of their resignations but bring pressure on the Congress to submit resignations.

TTDF leaders are also planning to launch a mass indefinite fast in Hyderabad after completing the padayatra in Assembly constituencies. During its agitation, the TTDF will target both the Congress and the TRS.
