Student seeks CJI's permission to die
Attar Singh has petitioned the Chief Justice of India to allow him to die since he has been subjected to injustice.

Sirsa: A 55-year-old law student has petitioned the Chief Justice of India to allow him to die since he has been subjected to injustice from various quarters, including police.

Attar Singh, a resident of Haryana’s Ellenabad town petitioned the SC on February 13 and told the Chief Justice of the apex Court that he has been facing "trouble, miseries and economic problems" for long.

He blames the state police for his troubles and claims that the police humiliated and insulted him, his wife and his children on December 21, 1995 for holding a peaceful demonstration against the "injustice committed by MDS University, Ajmer".

Singh has also alleged that police pulled his moustache and beard in public and hurt his religious feelings. Attar now wants to commit suicide as he says that he hasn't got justice from any quarters.

What's your reaction?
