THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Members of the Dravidian Linguistics Association (DLA) on Thursday observed the second death anniversary of the association’s founder, V I Subramoniam. The commemoration was organised during the ongoing 39th annual conference of DLA at the V I Subramoniam Complex Hall in the city. The former students of Subramoniam, including poet Puthussery Ramachandran, paid floral tributes at the ‘smrithi mandapam’. M Rama presided over the function. At the conference, literary critic M Leelavathi was elected as the president of the association and M Rama as the Dean of DLA.
