Nagapattinam: Three persons were killed and eight others injured in a headon collision involving a two-wheeler and a van near Nagore in the district on Sunday, police said.
Two of the victims were riding the two-wheeler while the other was travelling in the van, they said. Under the impact of the collision the van capzised, injuring eight of its occupants seriously.
All the injured had been admitted to the government hospital here, police added.
