CHENNAI: The Madras High Court has directed the State Chief Secretary to probe into the auction of a property at Sennathur village in Hosur in March 2011 by Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation (TIIC.)Passing the interim orders on an appeal, a division bench comprising Justices Elipe Dharma Rao and M Venugopal said the Chief Secretary should go into all aspects of the case and file a report to the court within four weeks.The case relates to one KS Palanisamy of Salem district who filed a writ petition seeking a direction to TIIC to accept the offer made by him to an extent of `70.99 lakh for the property. A single Judge allowed the plea. Hence, the present appeal by one Mohamed Fazal of Coimbatore.The Bench had already passed an interim order suspending the sale purported to be confirmed in favour of Palanisamy.
