New Delhi: Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung on Friday showed his disappointment over Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's strongly worded letter to the former accusing him of making the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) ineffective on the directions of Prime Minister Modi.
"Tone of your letter leaves me deeply disappointed. Such references to PM do not reflect well on a CM" said a disappointed Jung.
Kejriwal on Thursday wrote a strongly-worded letter to Jung, targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the ongoing rift in the national capital.
"Just as the PM has made the ACB ineffective, the L-G is now making the DCW ineffective on PM's direction," Kejriwal had said in the letter to Jung.
"The DCW is completely out of jurisdiction of L-G, and he asking for file is completely undemocratic and amounts to blackmail," he had said.
The Delhi Chief Minister had also questioned the remark of Jung wherein the latter said that he was the "government of Delhi".
"The government is chosen by the people. How can one person call himself the government," the AAP leader had said, terming the claim by the L-G as "laughable".
