Traffic halts on Sirsi Circle flyover

BANGALORE: Just after Afreen made a silent exit, people gathered in large numbers to catch the last glimpse of the battered baby outside the mortuary.  As the mortuary is visible from Sirsi Circle flyover, curious commuters on that stretch stopped only to take a final look of the baby. This ‘curiosity,’ however,  obstructed the  flow of traffic on Sirsi Circle flyover.Additional Commissioner of Traffic Dr M A Saleem said, “Every sensational news instigates curiosity among the public. Even in Afreen’s case, the same thing has happened. Such situations cannot be anticipated and it should be handled carefully. Hence, Cobras- a special traffic police team were deputed to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the city.”
